Changing stem angle from 10° to 17°

Changing installed stem angle from 10° to 17° (same 100mm length) moves the handlebar clamp -6.2mm and +10.5mm on the baseline frame. Synthetic baseline frame (stack 560 mm, reach 385 mm, head angle 73°). As of 2026-09-12, method 1.1.0.

Keeping the frame, total steerer rise, and 100mm stem length unchanged, only the installed stem angle changes from 10° to 17° (relative to perpendicular to the steerer).

This worked example uses the site's synthetic baseline frame, not a specific manufacturer model. Recompute with your own frame stack, reach, and head angle before acting on it.
